Biography
Magnus Gislev has a degree in chemistry and business administration from the University of Karlstad, Sweden. He started in the European Commission in 1995 and joined the Environment Directorate-General in 1999. Mr Gislev was in charge of overseeing the implementation of EU legislation on integrated pollution prevention and control and also took part in the development of the EU Emissions Trading Scheme and the EU Environmental Technologies Action Plan. From 2005 to 2009 he was the EU Environment Counsellor in Beijing, in charge of the EU-China Environment Policy Dialogue and the EU-China Climate Change Partnership. From 2009 to 2013 he was working on international relations in the Environment Directorate-General, and after that he worked on raw materials and circular economy in the Growth Directorate-General. Since August 2019, he has been working in the aviation policy unit of the Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport, on environmental matters, in particular within ICAO.

Biography
Olivier Jankovec became Director General of the European Region of the Airports Council International (ACI EUROPE) in September 2006. ACI EUROPE is the European region of Airports Council International (ACI), the only worldwide professional association of airport operators. ACI EUROPE represents over 500 airports in 45 European countries. Our members facilitate over 90% of commercial air traffic in Europe: 2.3 billion passengers, 21.2 million tonnes of freight and 25.7 million aircraft movements in 2018. These airports contribute to the employment of 12.3 million people, generating €675 billion each year (4.1%) of GDP in Europe.
Olivier first joined ACI EUROPE in March 2006 as Director of Strategy & Communications. He has more than 25 years of governmental and lobbying experience, having worked for Alitalia (2002-2006), Air France (2000-2002) and the Air Transport Directorate of the European Commission (1994-2000).
Immediately prior to joining ACI EUROPE Olivier was the Director of Institutional Relations for Alitalia where he was in charge of governmental affairs at national, European and International levels. During this time, he was also chair of the Association of European Airlines Policy Committee. In 2006 and 2007, he participated in the EU's High-Level Group on the future of aviation regulation in Europe.

Biography
Luc Tytgat has been Director of the Strategy and Safety Management Directorate of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) since 1 January 2015.
He is in charge of raising safety intelligence as one of EASA's key priorities and developing a better and more agile regulatory framework. Prior to joining EASA, Luc Tytgat was director of the Pan-European Single Sky Directorate at EUROCONTROL since 2011, after working for 20 years in the field of air transport and space at the European Commission and 10 years in the Belgian Air Force.
Luc Tytgat also has significant experience in dealing with European Commission matters.
He also initiated the GALILEO programme and established the EU competence in the space policy sector.

Biography
Montserrat Barriga has been Director General of the trade association European Regions Airline Association (ERA) since November 2017.
Under her leadership, ERA – representing more than 60 airlines and 149 associate members, including manufacturers, airports, suppliers and aviation service providers – works on behalf of its members to represent their interests before Europe's major regulatory bodies, governments and legislators to encourage and develop long-term and sustainable growth for the sector and industry.
Montserrat Barriga is responsible to ERA's Board for the delivery and implementation of ERA's strategy and the association's advocacy work on policy and technical matters, including key industry matters such as sustainable connectivity, and is committed to highlighting the aviation sector's vital contribution to Europe's future economic prosperity, particularly in the regions of Europe.
Prior to her appointment as ERA Director General, she worked at ERA member airline Binter as Director of International Development and Industry Affairs, focusing on the airline's regulatory needs and international development.
Before this, Montserrat Barriga headed up strategy development at Pullmantur Group, which included a cruise line, tour operators, retail travel agencies and a charter airline.
