Copenhagen/hybrid, 21-23 September 2022 — The Explosive Detection Dogs Study Group (EDD) reviewed progress on its 2022 work programme and agreed on its priorities for 2023. Recent developments in States that use EDD or that are considering creating an EDD programme were reviewed, and participants discussed guidance on screening people, and reviewed the agenda and presentations for the November EDD workshop to be held in Paris.
They also reflected on possible inputs to the European Commission’s amendments to the EU legislation laying down detailed measures for the implementation of the common basic standards on aviation security.
